This will be my last entry on WLS. If we don’t move to WordPress by Jan 1, 2011 we will not be allowed to post here anymore. I am asking my friends to join me at blogspot.
oh beth, I have the notification now too, still makes me feel sad, but it is good you and others will be on blogspot with me. I have just posted my last but one blog on spaces, have to get my link put on for blogger. hugs – nita
I have the noticed from WLS, I guess sometime happening to end of WLS.In the way we can make up our mind to moving out to Blogspot without our feeling for WLS:-)It is much easir for me to do one blog space Enjoy your day,Michiko
It really is only a name change to WordPress as they have joined them. One quick upgrade and all your stuff here will be transferred to WordPress easily enough, you won\’t lose anything.
I tried transfrerring one of my little used spaces over to wordpress. It lost all of my pictures and didn\’t transfer any of my posts. If you have anything important I would suggest that you download your space to your hard drive. I did that with this space and I have all of my posts since the very beginning.
Thanks Beth for letting me know about the Download option. I\’ll do that for sure. Sorry to hear you lost some of your posts from your other space. Big Sigh!
Am in process of transferring over to Word Press now. They better not lose any of my 6 yrs of photos or the S*#T will hit the fan. Should have save on hard drive first….to late now.
Yep, made the transition, not over the moon but adjusting like everything else you learn to adapt and move on. I miss having music on my site though, haven\’t figured out how to do it on wordpress yet or if its applicable as one of the "free" options. We\’ll see, at least i have blogspot and my music is on there so I console myself. hmmmmmmm

Curiosity Abounds, they didn\’t transfer all my 150 blogs they only transferred 20 of my blogs.
Oh no….think I shall hangfire for a while before downloading and see what other folks experience of it is.
I did the same… I liked my MSN blog to my WordPress blog. I merged with my current belly acres.

The poopeydoop will have to hit the fan. any pics that are in a blog are transferred, not your photo albums.
Finally, I did end up with the posts onthe one space I transferred to wordpress. Photo albums and background, etc. are not moved.
Can I ask why everyone is moving right away, and how do you downlaod to your hard-drive, please,
